The Global Clinic is non-profit group of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. They give free dental and medical healthcare to people in developing countries who have no access to medical care. With a volunteer network spanning the globe, they are multi-racial, non-religious, apolitical, non-partisan, and above all, non-profit.

Since 1997, they have helped more than 30,000 patients in Indonesia, Zambia, India, Malaysia, Cambodia, Madagascar, Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and the Philippines

The doctors examine, perform minor surgeries, and give prescriptions. Their pharmacy then gives out free medication, which is bought at cost. The ophthalmologist organizes eye screenings, give out glasses, and do operative procedures to restore sight. The mobile dental clinic performs tooth extractions and fills cavities. The Global Clinic adheres strictly to medical protocol for any and all diagnoses and surgeries.

Their main aim is for sustainable healthcare. The Global Clinic involves local medical authorities and encourages local non-medical support at every stage. All equipment – from autoclaves to ultrasonic scaling machines – is carried in our suitcases!

On the 29th February 2012, a major fundraiser was organized in the city of Singapore.

Through the lenses of celebrated professional photographers, a curated selection of photo-art, including special moments captured on location by the team of Global Clinic dentists and doctors on missions, are donated for this exclusive exhibition. Our photographers donated photography art pieces for the charity auction.

Over $45,000 was raised through ticketing, beverages and photo-art sales. All funds raised will go towards funding the Global Clinic’s 2012 medical missions.
